Deficit Spending (author Aebersole)

You know you want to blame someone for our deficit problem, but really who really is the problem(Bush administration) they want to say, that we spend to much for welfare recipients but if it was not for the jobs
that we lost and the jobs that moved over seas, and for our high price gas that took a toll on our economy, but who do we want to blame the bottom line is poor people who may have lost there minimum wage job to over seas, or a war that was not constituted, the cut's in programs, for the poor, children and education all these programs have been cut or down sized for what to pay for a war that was not constituted, we are tired of the lies from the Bush administration it's not fair the poor always get the blame, oh what about our health care problem, who is to blame for that. Our new president will have his hands full--it's very depressing for me to think how much more can we take, and still be blame for small welfare payments go to those who need it, not because they want it, it's only a very small portion that the poor receive from welfare it does not even make a dent in the economy so when people make these judgements they better know what they are talking about, it's the other way around there are more people with out jobs now and have to ask for help when before they all ways had a job, it's only now that the politicians want to do something, but what happened to the very very poor and the handicap and other people who are part of our society what happens to them with these cut's everyone plays the blame game and turn away I hope our new president does not do that and does not forget his past how he grew up, and what his own family had to go through it's only this hope we all will have for a change for someone to lead a nation someone who can be strong, fair and compassion in time of need, we need a true balance in Washington, maybe we might just get it as long as politics and wealth and greed does not lead him a stray

The appointment of Panetta is ludicrous. Even Feinstein and Rockafellar are against it.

The dirty little secret is that the ones actually qualified to run the CIA- that are knowledgeable about intel and how it works- would not accept the appointment on Obama's terms.

Panetta has been anti-CIA since his days as Clinton's Chief of Staff. The CIA actually had to partner with the Dept of Defense in an effort to keep Panetta from slashing their budgets, which is one of the direct results of 9-11.

This is pick is a BIG mistake and puts this country at great risk.

The hatred that has been bestowed on us is exactly what we deserve. We need to stay at home, bring the troops home, and mind our own business sometimes and stop playing Save the World. If America is really for Americans, stop spending money on foreign wars, build some new factories, cut down urban blight, and for Gods sake, fix the trade imbalance and the national debt.

In my Blog "Why Blago should remain Governor", I talk about the real deal and the issues Blago created by some of his questionable ethics. Obama should not be concerned with Blago or his antics. There are more than enough Illinois politicians capable of dealing with Blago. Obama has national and international issues to be concerned with that are for more pressing. As for why the Blago investigation was stopped before he committed any further acts, no one knows for sure. the timing of it all certainly smells of more politics. Maybe someone never intended Blago to make the Senate appointment. Maybe that is also the same reason he did. After all, he does had a little bit of an ego.

In case you weren't aware, throwing a shoe at someone is an enormous insult in the Arab world. It essentially means, "you are as worthless as the dirt on my feet".

He also said, "This is a gift from the Iraqis. This is a farewell kiss, you dog!", and "This is for the widows, the orphans, and those who were killed in Iraq".

Yes, people often have different ways of expressing themselves. To trivialize that is to further the hatred of this country in the eyes of other nations.

I think the real losers here would be the 3 million americans who are going to lose their jobs when these companies tank. Unfortunately for them, there is no knight in shining armor.

Bloomberg is looking to make an example of Burress, so down he goes for what? Carring a gun (which are legal to buy and own) and not committing a crime. I love these laws that turn otherwise legal abiding people (yes he walks a fine line) into hard core criminals. How many hard core folks do we have locked up for pot? How many cars, homes and other personal assets are siezed for $500 of drugs found? We pass laws for one crime committed and create and entire new segment of criminals!

As for this being Clinton III, I pray that it is...But I can see where libs are very concerned about that option.
