John Meacham: Obama a Creepy Cult of Personality?
John Meacham called Barack Obama a creepy cult of personality. Noting he is bothered by his singular personality and controlling of everything. Where was this commentary before the election? If Meacham felt Obama was a cult of personality, isn’t this something he should have express prior to the election? I have been told by more than one person that the entire acceptance speech was a bizarre, almost disturbing function. Two different non partisian ladies I have spoken with were stunned by the body language of Obama, the constant looking out over the audience slowly, almost waiting for the people to acknowledge his worthiness. The other bothersome aspect was the crying of the Obama’s supporters, so emotionally caught up in the moment of one man, believing the world would be changed.
I hope, no pray for the best, but Barack Obama has a terrifying personality flaw; the belief he is destined to be where he is. It is similar to George W. Bush, who reportedly believes God destined him for the presidency. Obama, although perhaps not God, clearly feels the same…A very scary and disturbing mindset.

Everyone reads body language differently. I’ve heard that the speech was subdued and the he didn’t display enough happiness that he had just been elected etc… One thing you have to realize amongst all of this is the person closest to him during his life, who raised him etc… died the day before the election. Of course he was not himself - would you be?
