McCain Charing Hard

Published by aebersole at 6:47 am under Current News Edit This

John McCain is coming hard in the final few days of the presidential race. Polls are indicating the race is within the margin of error and as I have been claiming for two months; this is a tight race.

The biggest momentum break is undecided voters, which seem to be breaking for McCain. If this holds, then people will look back at three things. 1: The radio interview posted on here, from 2001 which Obama talks about how the Constitution is flawed 2. Joe Plumber comment and spread the wealth. 3. Finally, Biden’s promise of a world crisis. These three things have voters concerned about who Obama is and questioning the claims of Obama being a middle of the road guy.

It will be very interesting to watch this play out. Although I have been saying Virginia and Ohio, Pennsylvania could be interesting along with Florida. Only time will tell. But, this country has shown a trend of voting right to center in most presidential election, if they feel Obama is left, then he is in big trouble.

There is one, count ‘em, one outlier poll with a half day’s sampling that shows the race within the margin of error. I don’t know what data you’re looking at, but I will suggest looking at state polls from now on, as national polls reflect any gains in states that are already in one column, i.e. in Idaho, where McCain has grown his lead by 6% or in California where Obama has grown his lead by 4%.

Numbers are only your friend if you play fair…

State numbers lag behind the national numbers…The outliners are the polls that show anything in double digits, those days are over.
