Tonight’s Debate…The Same Old, Same Old

Published by aebersole at 12:56 pm under Current News Edit This

So the third and final presidential debate is tonight. What are we going to see? The same thing we have seen from the first two.

Barack Obama will be careful, state his ideas slowly, some what clearly, and without controversy. He will come off as cool but average. The American people will not fall over themselves to rush to the ballot box and pull the lever for Obama.

On the other side, John McCain will come off as old, feisty and frustrated. He has not really offered any real alternative to Obama and in fact the last debate he offered more government spending. If McCain wants to alter the polls he must go after the banking meltdown and point out the role of the Democrats. Second and most important he must find a way to come off as a real option to Obama.

That is something has not done.

We know what we’ll get out of Obama, however I think McCain needs to go after Bush and really stress what makes him different to win this debate. Personally, I don’t see it happening either. We’ll find out in an hour though!
