McCain’s Dream Slipping Away?

Published by aebersole at 6:22 pm under 1 Edit This

Monday Ramblings:The presidential race is coming to an end and most Americans are thankful and relieved. Many Americans have two things in common concerning Barack Obama and John McCain. 1: They don’t really like either one. 2. They wish it were all over.

Democrats are feeling confident and they should. Even Rush Limbaugh sounded frustrated this afternoon on his talk show, indicating the king of talk senses Obama is pulling away. There is one snag in the Dem party; the Zogby Poll, which has Obama and McCain within the margin of error. The polls are an interesting lot and I am not sure what to make of them.

Remember 2004 and
Ohio? Well, there is a sector that runs from the Northwest corner to the just north of
Cincinnati that played a huge role in re-electing George W. Bush. My point here, to be very frank, this area could come out strong in favor of McCain, not because of John McCain, but because Barack Obama is black. I have suspicions that this area is not ready for a black president.

The environment is ripe for Obama as McCain completely destroyed his maverick appeal with his conventional political actions during the banking meltdown. This is shown in the Zogby poll which noted McCain’s support among Republicans was below 80 percent after being nearly 90% just a few weeks ago. In the end look for many voters who had considered McCain to stay home or vote third party.

In all seriousness, a vote for threedegrees is a vote for the American people. I’m just like you, see. A non-millionaire with a love of booze and football and, just like our current VP nominee, I have no business being in politics.

Maybe we could get 8% of the country to vote Libertarian…maybe 12%…who knows?

I doubt Ohio will go for Obama. There’s a lot of racist rednecks in this state. There’s a reason Hillary won it in a landslide, and it wasn’t because they favored her experience better. God I need to move out of this state lol…

I think everyone who voted Bush back in after his first term ought to charged an extra percentage of tax! What WERE they THINKING! :)

When I saw the democratic leadership nominees whittled down to Hillary and Barrack Obama I thought, wow there’s going to be some racist male chauventistic democrats who are going to have a tough choice here. Hopefully even racist rednecks want what’s best for them though and won’t do a political version of cutting of their noses to spite their faces.
