GOP Convention: The Most Watched Convention Ever

Published by aebersole at 9:54 pm under Current News Edit This

With over 40 million people, the Republican National Convention was the most watched political convention ever, topping the DNC last week. What does this mean? Well, clearly people are interested in the political process and second, get ready for a long, long, long election night…Once again both bases are energized, meaning John McCain’s appeal to the independent voters may turn out to be a brilliant move; despite what I said on here a few months ago.

One Response to “GOP Convention: The Most Watched Convention Ever”

The Pew Research Center disclosed just this morning that more Democrats watched the RNC than ever. When I asked the ones that I know why, they all seem to have the same answer: We wanted to see if the other side would present any solutions, not just the usual partisan attacks and hate rhetoric.

Maybe it was the same for a good chunk of the 39.5 million people that tuned in.

Is there any way to find out the number of people that watched either convention online?
