Things to Watch for This Weekend
McCain and the polls. Gallup among others are showing a tie in the presidential race. This is a surprise to everyone, considering Obama is coming off his grand tour, a smashing hit or so it seemed.
The new line of attack on Obama, accusing him of being nothing more than a celeb. This appears to gain strength as most voters are simply turned off by celebs. The question is how will Obama deal with this attack and can he fight it off before it starts to stick?
The VP watch. This should really intensify now that it is August the conventions are right around the corner. Something will be breaking soon.
I want to thank http://obamalies.net/. My post about gay marriage was posted over there and attacked on the site, but it was done rationaly. There was no name calling or other ridiculous avenues of attack. I put up my counter in the comments sections over there. Check out the original post on this blog.
