McCain and Obama Stuck in the Dog Days?
Senator John McCain and Barack Obama seem stuck in the dog days of Summer. Both candidates are just meandering around, reacting, instead of re-acting to problems. Where is the platform for either candidate? Where do they stand for more than just one day? There is no substance to either at this point.
Obama speaks of change, but what change? McCain is attempting to reach all segments of voters, speaking with such liberal groups as the NAACP. He continues to avoid the conservative base in an attempt to become the centrist campaign. Obama’s campaign jumped the tracks sometime back in March and still has not found solid ground.
With each passing day, a campaign that started with great excitement during the primaries, is fizzling out, leaving many voters feeling unexcited and indifferent.
