Fear Will Drive the Vote to Obama…

Published by aebersole at 2:40 pm under 1 Edit This

The drive to the White House is going into overdrive. Now that the calender is turned to July both Barack Obama and John McCain will be kicking up the campaign.

Two major issues remain at the core of the election; the economy and Iraq. As the economy remains in neutral, the news from Iraq continues to be positive. The Times Online is reporting that a combined force of Iraqi-Americans are putting the finishing touches on Iraq Al-Qaeda. 1200 fighters are trapped in the northern city of Mosul and on the verge of meeting their virgins. This is good news for McCain, who stood strong demanding a surge before there was one. Now it appears the results are indisputable and McCain’s stance is working.

The problem for the Senator is this; the American people have become addicted to voting on fear. The positives are often ignored, the negatives exaggerated and the result is extreme solutions to problems that should be left alone.

What does this mean? Barack Obama will be the next president based on fthe ear of a slow economy and Iraq will take a back seat.
