McCain Keeping Busy…
Sen. John McCain has had a busy few days. First he released his medical records and was given a clean bill of health. Big surprise; if there was something wrong the nation would have already known. Second, he is meeting with a trio of wantabee vice-presidential nominees, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Mitt Romney. The early money is on Romney, who has the potential to bring home the conservatives. Lastly, McCain started the backtracking process from controversial minster Rev. John Hagee of Texas. Among some of the more idiotic comments attributed to Hagee is calling the Roman Catholic church a whore and noting that Hitler was driving the Jews to the promise land under God’s guidance.
It certainly has been an interesting week for John McCain, even without an official opponent.

Ah… Hagee has been a strange guy. I was never a huge fan of his. As a Libertarian, I can’t hate McCain too much either. I have my own take on these matters in some of my blogs at http://waxingpoetically.today.com/
I hope you like it and pass it on
Best,
Mike
It’s not as if Hagee is McCains spiritual leader….if you know what I mean.
I hope it goes to Mitt Romney. This isn’t my election, but we’ve sure seen enough coverage of it to know all the main characters to date, and I really liked Mitt Romney from the get-go.
Crist should get it, only to give us some one new down here!
It will indeed be very interesting to see who the running mates are in this election, I feel that they will really be pivotal in the election
Denouncing Hagee was the best move I’ve seen out of McCain yet.
