Let the Fighting Begin
After so many weeks of both Barack Obama and John McCain pontificating about civil campaigns, both have gone on the attack.
The center of the bickering is Iran and negotiations without conditions. Back in July of 2007 Obama said he would negotiate with Iran without conditions. Since that moment his opponents have jumped on the opportunity; including Hillary Clinton.
Now McCain is on the attack, proclaiming this ampliflies Obama’s inexperience. Obama is countering with claims past presidents have spoken with far greater threats than Iran. The problem for Obama is each example he notes was done with conditions. Also, the Republicans now have Obama in an arena where they have traditionally been victorious; foreign affairs.
